The Hérisson waterfalls
Between Doucier and Bonlieu, in the Lakes region, the Hérisson valley is marked by the presence of magnificent waterfalls. A footpath, along 3.7 kilometers (one way), reveals no less than 31 waterfalls! The best known are the waterfalls of the Fan, very impressive, and the cascade of the Great Leap, a waterfall 60 meters high!
The house of the Cascades, located near the cascade Fan, is a museum space dedicated to this natural site and especially to its history, its fauna, its geology and its legends.
